Cross Stitching and Books
Cross stitching. Such an old skill rarely used nowadays. Luckily for you I am not your average Joe (or Joann for a girl?), and I happen to enjoy it as one of my many hobbies. This particular project has been in the works for about six years. I've owned the kit for about eight. It's one of those fall back projects I take up when I have nothing else to do, or when I just feel like it.
I mentioned in my Yarn Along this week about my trip to the library. These and a few others are what I checked out. I'm not picky with what I read, as long as it's clean and fun I will bury my face in it.
As much as I am fond of the library, I actually prefer to lounge in a book store. My favorite being Barnes and Nobles. The smell of new books is intoxicating, and I want to buy everything therein. I wish there was a perfume with the scent "New Book Smell." Yes, I am totally a homeschooling-book loving-Cross stitching-nerd. I could list a thousand other labels that would classify me as a nerd, but I would rather know useful skills, than know how to take a perfect photo shopped selfie. No offense to those that do.
Next week I hope to post my waffle recipe. I completely forgot I had promised it, but it is coming. And you will thank me forever when it does.
